Safe and Secure Independent Living
The 4 Golden Minutes
Accidents and medical emergencies can occur at any time, especially sudden cardiac arrest, which is extremely dangerous. When the heart stops, we have only 4 minutes to save the patient by performing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Without the heart pumping blood to the brain, brain cells quickly die from a lack of oxygen and nutrients, and once damaged, the brain cannot fully recover.
This is why the “4 Golden Minutes” is a critical period that Naya Residence by Lifewell prioritizes. Real-life cases have proven that this approach can effectively help our residents recover and maintain their quality of life.

Steps to Access Independent Living Within 4 Minutes During an Emergency
1. In the event of an emergency, a signal is sent to the nurse via the DoCare SCG system.
2. The nurse coordinates with security staff to reach the patient simultaneously.
3. The nurse coordinates with security staff to reach the patient simultaneously.
4. The nurse coordinates an emergency vehicle and assists the patient in boarding for hospital transfer.
“Naya Residence by Lifewell” trains staff from all sectors to be capable of assisting independent living residents in emergency situations. The project is also equipped with AED machines (Automated External Defibrillators) installed on-site. When used in conjunction with proper CPR, these devices can increase survival rates by more than 10 times, helping residents recover and return to near-normal living.
